The London Cinderella Project

Dear Parents,

The London Cinderella Project is a federally registered charity serving the London area. The Cinderella Project provides low income elementary graduates and highschool prom attendees from the London area with formal wear for their end-of-year celebrations. We hope to foster a sense of pride in students and encourage them to participate with their peers in commemorating personal milestones.

At the London Cinderella Project we stress inclusiveness in our aims to remove the barriers that lower income families are challenged with. We recognize that eliminating these barriers promotes confidence and self-esteem in students lives.

If you are interested, please visit the website at: http://www.londoncinderellaproject.com and complete the application form. Forms need to be completed by March 1, 2010 and the fittings for the dresses are scheduled for Monday, March 15th from 12:00-7:00 and on Tuesday, March 16th from 12:00-7:00.

Donations are what keep organizations like the London Cinderella Project alive. Any monetary donations qualify for a tax receipt. Unfortunately at this point, the Cinderella Project is unable to issue receipts for any donation other than a monetary one.

What can you donate? Take a peek into your own closet and look for formal wear you’d never have the occasion to wear again/is too big/is too small or anything that you would just like to give. Donations can be dropped off at one of the drop off locations listed on their website.

The Cinderella Project is not able to return donations, so please donate with consideration. They also reserve the right to alter or use donations in manners they feel would best benefit the audience. (For example, a dress that is not wearable could be altered into a handbag). Any questions regarding our policies can be addressed to info@londoncinderellaproject.com
